Karri Raw Timber Flooring
A simple guide to karri timber flooring
Karri is part of the Eucalyptus family and is native to Western Australia. We have introduced this timber into our range in place of the Malaysian species Kempas as we have found it to be a more stable species. Karri is also similar in appearance to Kempas with a rich red brown colour including pinkish tones. Karri is a high density timber which makes it very hardwearing, it measures 9 on the Janka scale of Hardness. At Woodstock, we stock wide board as well as the usual 90mm boards and we also have two kinds of feature boards which are always on display in the showroom.
